Incognito Mode in apps lets you use their functionality without being tracked and without your actions being logged into your usage history. It is reported that YouTube is testing incognito mode in its Android app
While YouTube already has privacy settings; going into the app settings, then to the history and in the privacy you can toggling on the options to pause watch and search history. You can also sign out and use the app from being tracked. With this new setting, YouTube is aiming to make it easier without tinkering with the settings.
Incognito Mode will show up in the account settings page in the top right of the app. Since the feature is testing, for now, you will only see Switch account and Sign out as two different items, but once the feature is rolled out they may be bundled into one, and the option below given to Turn on Incognito. Like with most Incognito Mode your activity is not saved and subscriptions are hidden too. Once you disable the mode, you are back on again.
The feature is not rolling out yet, and it might be a server-side roll out. There are also strings relating to the Incognito Mode present within the app.

Microsoft's Bing search engine today has announced that it is jumping into the anti-bitcoin bandwagon and has banned Cryptocurrency Ads. Since cryptocurrency and related products are not regulated, it sees them as a possible risk to Bing users with potential for bad actors, scam consumers.
It will be disallowing advertising for the cryptocurrency, related products, and un-regulated binary options. It will be implementing this change to financial product and services policy globally in June, and enforcement rolling out in late June to early July. With this announcement, Bing joins the league with Google, Twitter, and Facebook who have already banned Cryptocurrency Ads.
Commenting on the announcement, Bing said:
Because cryptocurrency and related products are not regulated, we have found them to present a possible elevated risk to our users with the potential for bad actors to participate in predatory behaviors, or otherwise scam consumers. To help protect our users from this risk, we have made the decision to disallow advertising for cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency related products, and un-regulated binary options.

HMD Global has scheduled a press event in Moscow, Russia on May 29th where the company is expected to launch new Nokia phones. The company has started sending out media invites for the launch where the company's CEO Florian Seiche, HMD’s CMO Pekka Rantala and CPO Juho Sarvikas will be present.
The invite teaser reads "Dear friends. We invite you to worldwide premiere new Nokia phones." This is interesting considering the company is promoting them as 'world premiere.' While the exact models and specifications of these phones are unknown, recently three new Nokia phones; TA-1075, TA-1105& TA-1116 have been certified in Russia, but the names of the phones have not been revealed yet.
Nokia's 2018 line-up is already available in Russia except for Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 8110 4G. If anything we might witness the launch of Nokia 2, 3 and 5 2018 editions. Either way, we should know more details as we move forward.

YouTube starting today is adding artist, songwriter, label and publisher credits to videos. It will answer those questions with “Music in this video” crediting the one who contributed to the music. The company is adding credits to more than half a billion videos.
Not only this feature will give due credits to the artists, but it will also let the music lovers discover the information on both music videos and for the first time on any platform. Users can click on “Show more” to see more detail about the artists and songwriters, and the labels and publishers who represent them, including a link to the Official Artist Channel and official music video when available.
This provides more opportunities for artists and songwriters to reach YouTube’s diverse audience. The company says that it is just a start and will expand the scope and quality of data to ensure all creators are credited as completely and accurately as possible.

Netflix is now bringing HDR support for Xperia XZ2, Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20 smartphones. While more and more smartphone with HDR-capable displays is launching, app developers must bring the compatible feature to take advantage of the capability.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone in India last month, but it had support for 4G VoLTE in one SIM, while the other SIM supports only 3G, as we had mentioned in the review. As the company had promised earlier this month, the phone has received support for 4G VoLTE on both the SIMs via the latest V2.22A update.
The changelog just mentions user interface enhancements and improved system stability. The company at the launch event said that it will add Face Unlock feature via an update, but it is not available in this update. Hope we will see it in the next update. The Nokia 7 Plus also comes with Treble support with A/B system partition for seamless updates. It was one of the first smartphones to get Android P beta.
The V2.22A update for the Nokia 7 Plus is 441.7MB and also brings Android security patch for May 2018.

OnePlus yesterday at its OnePlus 6 launch event in London introduced its new Bullets Wireless Bluetooth headphones with aptX technology. Today it has launched it in India. It has a magnetic resume that lets you turn it off just by attaching the headphones together and resume when you remove it.
It has memory alloy body covered in liquid silicone, and has a water-resistant body so that you can use them even in rain. It has a neck-band design with power button on the neck band and has in-line volume, music / call controls.

OnePlus announced its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone at an event in London yesterday, now the company has launched it in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, about 84% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. Instagram is now rolling out the ability to share feed posts directly to stories, after testing it earlier this year. This makes it easier to share a post that you come across your feed directly to stories for your friends and followers to see.
To share the feed posts directly to stories, tap on the paper airplane button below the post, just as you would do to send it via Direct. On tapping, you will see options to create a story. Instagram will now let you see the feed post as a sticker with a customized background ready to share to your story. You can rotate, scale and move the sticker and explore other options before sharing.
Instagram says that the all posts shared to stories will have the original poster’s username and you can also see the original post who created it when you look at a post in someone’s story. It also lets you share posts from public accounts, and if you don’t want your posts shared to stories by other people, you can easily opt out in settings. These updates are available to Android and will be coming to iOS soon.
