These models come with model numbers M809L and M810L and they are rumored to be the marketed as the Meizu M8c Lite and the Meizu M8c respectively. While the Meizu M8c Lite will ship as an Android Go smartphone, the M8c will be company's regular budget segment phone.
The company's last month confirmed that it is working on Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone, so the Meizu M8c Lite could be it. Based on the FCC listings, the M8c Lite will have an 8-megapixel sensor while the front-facing selfie shooter might be a 5MP sensor. Since it is Go Edition phone, it will have 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition. According to IDC, Indian smartphone shipments reached 30 million units in Q1 2018 and has seen a healthy 11% YoY growth, but it remained flat when compared to the previous quarter; Q4 2017. As expected Xiaomi retained the top position for the second quarter in a row.

Coolpad has announced that its unit has filed lawsuits against three group firms of Xiaomi for several patent Infringements. The company's subsidiary, Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) Co. Limited has filed a lawsuit against Xiaomi Telecom Technology Co, Xiaomi Technology Co, and Xiaomi Factory Co, in a court in Jiangsu province for using its patents without authorization.
Yulong demands that Xiaomi companies should immediately stop the sale and production of some of the smartphone models, including the Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Max 2, Mi Note 3, Mi 5X, Redmi Note 4X and Mi MIX 2. Going back in time, Yulong had filed a similar legal case against Xiaomi in a Shenzhen court in January 2018 as well.
The patents involved in this lawsuit include systematic interactions or UI type patents. They all involve basic communication, display and interactive functions of mobile phones, and are difficult to circumvented or replaced. Furthermore, the company is also alleging that Xiaomi has violated its patented multi-SIM card design and other technology related to user interface. It is now demanding that Xiaomi compensate it for losses due to the alleged infringement.

In-display fingerprint sensors are slowly catching up with tier one brands like Huawei, Vivo included the tech, and it's about time Samsung jump in on the bandwagon as well. Adding to the speculation that the 10th anniversary model of Samsung’s flagship series might be a standout, in-display fingerprint sensor.

Microsoft has announced the Surface Hub 2 and it is designed from the ground up that can be used by teams. The company says that it is sleek, agiler and more affordable to fit any workspace or work style. It sports a 50.5-inches 4K multi-touch display with 3:2 aspect ratio and extremely thin bezels.
