Motorola has published the Android 4.4.4 KitKat build Kernel Source Code for Moto X(2014) and Moto(2014), according to Android Police. The initial kernel source code for Motorola Moto X (2014) is codenamed 'Victara', while that of the Moto G (2014)  is dubbed 'Titan'. For those unaware, kernel is a Linux-based baseline software that runs underneath Android, which allows it to interact with mobile phone or tablet hardware. Android uses an open source software that requires manufacturers to publish the source code publicly for everyone to inspect and modify if they want to. The kernel source code is available through Motorola‘s developer GitHub, completely browsable, and can be downloaded as a single compressed archive.  Google released Android 4.4.4 Kernel Source code for these three Android One smartphones in September. via

Android continued its dominance and captured 84% of global market share in Q3 of 2014, according to a latest report from Strategy Analytics. For the third quarter, global shipments of Android-based smartphones reached 268 million, up from 206 million for the same quarter a year ago. Samsung has added Stamp Cards service to Samsung Wallet that was launched last year. Stamp Cards are loyalty cards that allows a customer either discounts on a current purchase or allots points for future purchases. The official Samsung Wallet app which is available at 'Samsung Galaxy apps' or 'Google Play Store' supports devices like Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note or Galaxy Note II. Users will need to sign in to their Samsung Wallet in order to start collecting the Stamp Cards. These Stamp Cards are created using an electronic stamp that has five contact points on the bottom. Stamping it on the Samsung Wallet app will automatically create a Stamp Card. The electronic stamp creates about 200,000 different electronic patterns according to the pattern values. Billions of different electronic stamps can be generated as per the order of the electronic patterns. The stamp patterns can hence be classified and perceived by brand and store. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUSOU8zBvu8 It must be noted that in order to create the Stamp Cards, the stores must be affiliated with the Samsung Wallet. It was only a couple of years ago that we had no way of staying in contact when travelling beneath the streets of London but one lasting legacy of the 2012 Olympics Games has been Tube WiFi. Provided by Virgin Media, the service began shortly before the launch of the 2012 Games with a handful of stations but is now available in 150 in total. To mark the occasion, the folks over at Virgin Media have created a rather stylish infographic showing some pretty impressive statistics for WiFi-usage on the Underground. One such stat is that there are now 2.5 million devices registered and there is more than 3 terabytes (1,000 GB) worth of data consumed on the network each day. The top 10 busiest stations are: Euston, Warren Street, Oxford Circus, Green Park, Bank, Victoria, London Bridge, Waterloo, Canada Water and King's Cross St. Pancras (which is the busiest station with an average of 50GB data downloaded per day). Unsurprisingly these are all underground where there is no cellular signal. The six recently added stations include Wimbledon, Morden, Richmond, Barking, Upminster and East Ham. London Underground Wi-Fi is available without charge to Virgin Media broadband and mobile subscribers and EE, Vodafone, O2 ...
