LG unveiled the L Series III lineup that includes L40, L70 and L90 at the MWC 2014 back in February. Both the L70 and L90 smartphones went on sale in India recently. The LG L65 Dual went on sale in Russia recently. Now @eveaks has leaked the press image of the single SIM variant, L65. It has a 4.3-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
Other than the screen size, most of the specifications are similar to the L70 Dual. This has a dedicated SIM switch key, similar to the other L Series devices. The single SIM variant is expected to come with similar features, but this would have a hardware home button along with capacitive touch buttons on either sides.

Google seems to be hard at work in updating its Android apps as we have had leaks suggesting complete overhaul for its Gmail app and Calendar app. Google had also just launched its own Google Camera application on the Play Store yesterday and today, it has updated the YouTube application for Android.

The Nokia X software platform got updated to version 1.1 recently that brought a lot of fixes and performance improvements. Nokia X users also get free 3G data from Airtel for 3 months. Nokia is expected to launch the Nokia X+ and the XL in the X series by next month.
Apple has partnered Shazam to work on a song identification tool for iOS 8, according to reports from Bloomberg. The feature will allow users to identify a song using their iPhone or iPad's microphone. The report states that users will be able to access the song identification feature via Apple's digital voice assistant, Siri. Hence, Siri will answer once a user asks "What song is playing" as it will generate the data from Shazam which has more than 90 million users.
It is reported that the feature will be directly integrated into iOS and will not need to be downloaded as a standalone app. Giving insights about iTunes Radio, the report said that Apple is preparing to expand its radio service internationally and take it beyond the US.
Last month, there were reports suggesting a possibility of a iTunes store for Android while earlier this month, it was reported that Apple is planning to give iTunes music store a makeover in order to boost flagging digital music sales.
Apple is expected to debut iOS 8 at WWDC 2014 in June where the company will also launch many other products and features.

Obi Mobiles has announced the launch of its operations in the India after several reports. The company is based in Gurgaon and is promoted by Inflexionpoint, popular IT supply chain company co-founded by John Sculley, Ex CEO of Apple. Amazon has integrated Kindle documents to its own Cloud drive thereby by giving its users 10 GB Amazon Cloud storage, in addition to 5GB of storage. Kindle owners received an email from Amazon informing them that all documents sent to Kindle are now stored on Amazon Cloud Drive.
Users will be able to manage their documents from a new folder called “My Send-To-Kindle Docs”. This folder allows users to organize, share, send or delete files of various types like Word documents, PDFs, images, online news articles or blogs. They can also turn off auto saving of documents to the cloud. Prior to this, documents sent to Kindle were converted to .mobi format, but now those docs are stored in their original format to access them anywhere from Amazon Cloud Drive.
Kindle owners have also received additional 5GB of free storage in the Amazon Cloud Drive while they already have 5GB of free space. The move comes from Amazon as it is facing a tough competition from its rivals Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud and Dropbox.

Toshiba has taken wraps off its latest microSD memory cards which the it claims are the fastest in the world. The new cards comply with the UHS-II interface standard, the ultra high speed serial bus interface defined in the SD Memory Card Standard Ver. 4.2.
UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) enabled, the memory cards allow high-quality 4K video capture at constant minimum write speeds of 30MB/s. The memory cards are available in 32GB and 64GB variant. Toshiba claims that the 32 GB microSD memory card can attain 130 MB/s when writing data and 145 MB/s when reading.
According to the company this is an upgrade if compared to Toshiba’s current 32GB microSD UHS-I cards with 8 times write speed improvement and 2.7 times read speed improvement. On the other hand the 64 GB card can sustain 240 MB/s when writing and 260 MB/s when reading.
These faster transfer speeds reduce the time required to download large data movie and music files to smart phones and tablets, and enable camera users to shoot high resolution digital still images in a continuous high speed shooting mode. LG G3, the upcoming flagship from the Korean manufacturer would also come in Gold colors, according The Verge who got hold of an image of the LG G3 retail box. Its sources have also confirms Quad HD or 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution display. Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the WiFi variant (SM-P600) of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition starting from Columbia. Samsung confirmed Android 4.4 update for 14 Galaxy devices in the U.S, including the Note 10.1 2014 Edition, earlier this year. It was launched last year running Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Sadly the Indian 3G variant (SM-P601) is yet to receive the KitKat update.
The KitKat update update brings a new user interface with rounded icons similar to the Galaxy S5. It also brings performance improvements, white status bar icons, wireless printing support, full-screen album art and more. The update is dated April 3rd, which is the latest. It is not clear when Samsung plans to roll out the update globally, but the cellular variant is expected get the update soon.

Yahoo has updated their Flickr apps for iPhone and Android to version 3.0 that brings a completely redesigned user interface and has been built from ground up. The iPhone app brings 14 live filters and the Android app has a range of new filters. Both the Android and iPhone apps have new editing tools.
The new app also lets you record 30 seconds of HD video on iPhone and use the same live filters available with photos. Last year Yahoo upgraded Flickr storage to 1TB for all the Flickr users permanently. The latest update finally brings Auto Sync feature that lets you upload all the images and video automatically to your account privately, so that you can share them easily.

Available only in the US, Nearby Feature not only lets you check out nearby friends but also makes it possible to share your exact location with others.
Users will have to active the feature in order to use it and as it is optional they can even turn it off.
