Apple has started testing related app search results in the Apple Store for iOS devices. This shows a bar with related search terms at the top of the search results page, when you search for an app or a game. If you search for "fun", it shows iPhone games, easy games and more. If you click on one suggestion, it shows more related suggestions.
It is not clear if the search suggestions are based on keywords chosen by developers, popular searches or any other algorithm. Apple bought San Francisco-based App Store search engine Chomp back in 2012 to bring new features related to better search and recommendations for apps, but the iOS6 and iOS7 changelog did not mention any changes related to App Store search.
Earlier this year Apple announced that the Apple App Store has more than one million apps in 24 categories. Since the number of apps continue to increase every day, it is hard to find apps suitable to your taste. If Apple continues to roll out the new related search suggestion feature across all its platforms, it might be useful for users to find more apps.

Taiwanese phone maker HTC is holding an event in New York City and London today to announce the much expected successor to the HTC One. HTC has finally announced the new HTC One (M8) successor of last year's HTC One (M7). The HTC One (M8) has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a 2.5 GHz / 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor(depending on the market) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the new HTC Sense 6.0 UI. Right off the bat, you notice that the design is an evolution of the HTC One and takes cues from the entire One series of phones. The curved corners of the phone are now more pronounced and should fit better in the hand. The construction remains aluminum and the phone will now be available in a glacial silver and gunmetal color.
Here we have with us the gunmetal variant of the device and we've gotta say that it definitely stands out. The front of the phone essentially consists of the 5 inch Full HD panel. With Microsoft's Build conference right around the corner, Nokia just sent out invitations for their own event. Scheduled to coincide with the first day of the Build developer conference. It is pretty obvious that the soon to be Microsoft owned company plans to announce new hardware.

Last month LG UK promised that the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update would be available in UK starting mid-March. The international variant of the LG G2 got the KitKat update last week, now the update is available for the Indian G2 users. Facebook is on a buying spree. Recently, it had acquired the messaging company Whatsapp for a record $19billion and now, it has acquired Oculus Rift, a virtual reality company. Oculus first demonstrated the prototype in June 2012 at E3 and then raised crowd funding for its Oculus Rift product.
Initially, the founders wanted to get a quarter million dollars and the funding goal was surpassed within four hours of announcement. Within 36 hours, the funding crossed a million dollars and the campaign ended with a total amount of over 2billion dollars. Now, the company has been bought by Facebook for a deal worth 2billion dollars. The deal includes a cash of $400million and the remaining 1.6$billion will be given as Facebook shares.

Vodafone partnered with Hungama to launch Vodafone Music back in December last year and tied up with Star India for Vodafone Sports.

LG Electronics has partnered with Airtel and Qualcomm to set up LTE experience zone in Bangalore for customers to experience 4G LTE. Airtel introduced 4G on mobile first on iPhone 5c and 5s for customers in Bangalore last month. LG launched the 4G LTE variant of the L2 G2 in India earlier this month starting at Rs. 46,000. This is India’s first-of-its-kind 4G LTE experiential program, says LG.
The LTE zone will be live for three weeks starting from today and would have 4G- enabled G2 LTE smartphone that streams full HD videos or movies from the cloud using Airtel’s LTE network, and mirrors it live on LG’s Curved OLED TV.

Sony was one among the first of the electronics giant to jump into the smart watch category and it has so far launched a couple of smart watches. Until now, both the products haven't really made it to the larger crowd. Sony SmartWatch does not use Android as its OS, but works with Android smartphones.
Last week, when Google announced Android Wear SDK for smart watches, LG and Moto were the first manufacturers to jump aboard with their LG G Watch and Moto 360 respectively. Sony was not a part of the list of manufacturing partners at that time and Sony don't seem to be willing to be a part. Sony has announced that it will not adapt the Android Wear OS for its smart watches, but will continue to push its own OS for its smart watches.
