Apple has rolled out its two step verification feature for Apple ID to more countries including India. The feature was introduced in the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Japan and others in March 2013. The two-step verification process adds an extra security layer to their Apple ID thereby reducing the chances of compromising their account. It requires a user to enter a verification code before they can sign in with their Apple ID. The 4-digit verification code can be received via  SMS or the Find My iPhone app. In addition to India, the feature is available in Greece, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Mexico and many others. You can click here to get a full list of the countries which has now summed up to a total on 59. Security concerns on mobile devices is increasing and hence more and more companies are striving hard to protect user data. Last year, Microsoft added the two step verification layer to increase security. Also, major social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn, Google and others already support this feature. via

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is the Korean giant's latest tablet for the enterprise, plain and simple. While it is very much the bigger brother of the Tab S 8.4 we just detailed, the form factor alone dictates a different destiny. Xiaomi, a name that is becoming increasingly popular in India, launched the 64GB version of their first tablet, i.e., the Xiaomi Mi Pad in their home country of China. The device not only is the first Xiaomi tablet, but is also the first to employ the NVIDIA Tegra K1 SoC. With a design that's strikingly similar to the iPad mini, the Mipad comes with the same 7.9-inch display and 2048 x 1536 pixel 'retina' display as the second gen iPad mini. A 16GB variant of the device was previously available for 1499 CNY or $241, while the 64GB version that launched today is priced at 1699 CNY or $273, which according to us makes for quite a better deal than the former. However, those that don't mind storage that isn't the fastest can go for the cheaper 16GB version, since both variants come with microSD support for storage expansion. Oppo Find 7 Review: Leading the race to the top

$

The idea of a Smartphone flagship is a race to the top where companies constantly try to 1up each other with class leading technology and innovative new additions to their top end smartphone, every year. The Find 7 is Oppo's entrant into this increasingly crowded flagship rat race, meant to appeal to the buyer seeking cutting edge technology. The Chinese manufacturer has been playing this game since the Find 5, and for the second time, they have captured the pole position by introducing a Quad HD display in a smartphone way ahead of any one else. But the race has already started and the gap has closed, with new uncertainties and the competition rapidly stepping up its game. One of the major uncertainties is the need for a Quad HD display on a smartphone. With a 1080p display on its younger sibling (the cheaper Find 7a, read the review here), the Find 7 finds itself facing a tough argument from the user "Is a Quad HD display really needed?". But even then, as a top end flagship, can it endure the onslaught from the competition and retain the pole position it wanted initially? Find out in our full review of ...

After cloning the upcoming iPhone 6, GooPhone now offers a cloned iWatch for $50

GooPhone have been quite up to task with Apple rumours and leaks, and after preparing a smartphone based off the alleged model of the iPhone 6, the China based maker is now offering a clone of what they think will be the first Apple wearable - the Apple iWatch. Looking at the pictures, the device looks more like a smartband or fitness tracker more than anything else, so limiting your expectations might be a good idea. That being said, the iWatch clone is all set to go on sale at a price of just $50, which is quite a bargain if you are a clone-seeker. There's no word on a full specs/feature set as yet, but given the price tag, do not expect much. The company is also taking pride in being the first one to offer an iWatch clone, and are claiming their device to be the world’s first ultra-genuine iWatch. How ridiculous is that! Of course, the device won't have the bells and whistles of the original thing, but hey, who cares? Well if you do, this one's not for you! Source, Via

LG G3 Review: Ambitiously Regressive

Ever since the Nexus 4, LG has been consistently upping its flagship game. The company's first decent flagship device, Optimus G, was the start of a wonderful intra-company relationship in which LG started pulling resources from within its own divisions, like the one for display, the one focused on Chemistry for battery technology, etc. It then culminated into the G2, which was, in fact, as popular as the Nexus 4 at some point, known for its edge to edge design, good camera, screen and great battery life. The G3 is the LG's ambitious successor, which fixes the few complaints the G2 had related to storage expansion and a removable battery, and adds interesting new technologies to differentiate itself. LG boasts itself as one of the firsts in the industry to have a quad HD display on a smartphone and also touts the new laser autofocus system that can be reliable, even in low light. Armed with all these features, can the LG G3 take on the Galaxies and the iPhones of this world? More importantly, is a Quad HD display really necessary? Lets find out in our full in-depth review. LG G3 prices announced for India - 16 GB - Rs ...

Google will stop labelling games with in app purchases as free. The move comes from the company after pressure from the EU. Starting in late September, games will no longer be termed as free if they include in-app purchases and that it will also require payment verification before each purchase. Moreover, Google will  come up with targeted guidelines for games to discourage children to make in-app purchases. The company agreed to create guidelines for games that fall into this category so kids will no longer be encouraged to buy things without their parents’ permission. It is unclear if these changes will be exclusive to Europe.  “We've been working closely with the European Commission and consumer protection agencies for the last few months to make improvements to Google Play that will be good for our users and provide better protections for children” said Google in a statement. In addition to Google, Apple has also agreed to address the issue however it is unclear what kind of actions will the company take. EU had accused Apple of taking too long to change its in-app purchase policy. Apple is planning on adding a new feature called “Ask to Buy” to iOS 8, which will give parents greater control over what ...
