Recently it was reported that Apple has cut the additional production of the iPhone XR owing to the poor reception. Now according to report from WSJ, the company has cut production orders for all three iPhone models launched in September in recent weeks.
According to the Wall Street Journal source, the company has witnessed a lower-than-expected demand for the new iPhones and Apple's move to offer more iPhone models made it difficult for the company to anticipate the number of components and handsets the company needs.
Apple with a lower-than-expected sales forecast for the Christmas quarter has surprised investors and this prompted certain suppliers to issue warnings pointing at week sales of the new iPhones. Apple did not respond to a request for comment. At the moment, it isn't clear on how many orders were cut down.

ZTE’s Nubia brand opend crowdfunding for its upcoming second-generation Red Magic Gaming phone via jd.com in China earlier this month. Now the company has announced that it will officially unveil the phone on November 28th at an event in Shanghai, China.
The company already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 10GB of RAM, 256GB storage and include both liquid cooling and air cooling to reduce the temperature by up to 13.2 degrees and improve CPU performance by up to 70%. It will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with Red Magic OS on top.
The phone with the model number NX619J recently surfaced on AnTuTu with Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and scored whopping 361,730 points.

Unlike other fitness bands, the Colorfit Pro has an Apple Watch feel to it with a big square shaped dial. On either side of the display module, it is attached with sporty black and blue (our review unit) strap made of silicone, which is comfortable to wear even though hands are sweaty. Having said that, the strap comes with enough adjustment options to fit even the smallest of wrists.
The Colorfit Pro is pretty light and the strap can be detached on both the ends. Talking about the placement, the Colorfit pro has a sensor at the back along with two pogo pins for charging just below it. LG has finally announced that the New Smart Display; LG XBOOM AI ThinQ model WK9 will be available in the United States with key markets in other regions to follow. The company mentioned that product at the IFA 2018 back in August. This smart display combines both Google Assistant and immersive sound quality from Meridian Audio.
The Smart Display was developed in collaboration with Google and comes with a touchscreen display. The WK9 also leverages on LG’s partnership with Meridian Audio to deliver delivering high-fidelity sound, precise vocal definition, and accurate bass, despite its compact size. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera for video conference and 20W speakers.
The WK9 sports an 8-inch touch display and it also features the ability to control other LG ThinQ products. It runs on Android Things, measures 370 x 244 x 145mm and weighs 1.51kg. The company mentioned that pricing and availability will be revealed closer to the launch date.

Google has announced that starting from January 7th, 2019, SMS notifications from Google Calendar will no longer be available. Since Calendar offers in-app notifications, you can still get notified, regardless of your device or connection.
All the previous Calendar notifications via SMS will be replaced with in-app and email notifications. You’ll see these notifications as event notifications in a web browser that has Calendar open or a mobile device if you have the Google Calendar app for Android or iOS installed.
In an email, if you had set up SMS notifications for new events, changed events, canceled events, or event responses. Google will also make some changes to the Calendar API to support this change.

As we are inching closer to the Galaxy S10 launch, we are hearing more and more details about the flagships. Two latest reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Will Feature next gen M9 Display Panels With Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) Laser Drilled Holes For The Front Camera And Infrared Sensor.
Given the strength of the Samsung display, the company should be very comfortable with display panels. Samsung introduced three new ‘notched’ screens at its developer conference earlier this month. One of them is an Infinity-O display, which, as the name suggests, features a circular cutout for the front camera, instead of a notch. Furthermore, now we heard that the panel will feature two holes, one for the front camera and the other for the Galaxy S10’s infrared sensor.
Both these holes will be drilled with a Diode Pumped Solid State Laser drill. Samsung will use SFA, Phil Optics and Wonik IPS’ laser equipment to carry out this drilling. ASUS launched its flagship Zenfone 5Z (ZS620KL) smartphone in India back in July running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0. Today the company has confirmed that it will roll out the Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the smartphone by the end of January 2019. It also said that the update will be rolled out in a phased manner to avoid update server congestion.
Users will get a notification when the update is available. They can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > System > System Updates > Check for Updates.
The latest Android Pie update brings several new features, including Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant, all-new contextual pop-up volume bar, new Magnifier feature for easier copy-and-paste and lots more.

Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to be working on a new smartphone codenamed 'Odin' which will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 chipset and 5G Moto Mod support. Though this won't be the final name for the device; we are inclined to believe it would be Moto Z4.
According to latest report, the upcoming Motorola flagship is based on the upcoming Snapdragon 8150 platform with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. However, the phone is still in early development so there could be higher RAM and storage models. It runs on Android 9 Pie and will also have Moto Mod support. Motorola has previously committed to “three generations” of support on the Moto Z lineup, and this device will be a fourth-generation model, so we can expect design changes.
The Motorola “Odin” will support Motorola’s upcoming 5G Moto Mod, thanks to the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem, which Verizon has used to complete its first 5G data transmission using the Moto Z3 and the unreleased 5G Moto Mod. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 Pro in India back in September running MIUI 9, now it has started receving MIUI 10 Stable update. The update is also available for the Redmi 5 smartphone that was launched earlier this year running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). This comes after the Xiaomi Redmi 5A got the MIUI 10 update last week.
The new update comes as MIUI 10.0.1.0.ODMMIFH for the Redmi 6 Pro and is about 609MB in size, and the update comes as 10.1.2.0.NDAMIFI for the Redmi 5, which is 348MB, but the Redmi 5 update is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat). Xiaomi has not updated the Android security patch on Redmi 5 and it runs on July, 2018 security patch.

Google says that this ability to screen calls is designed to help you quickly determine whether the call is important.
The feature is powered by AI and runs in real-time on your device. The company says that the experience is fast, responsive, and private to you. It keeps power consumption to a minimum and even works without a data connection. Call Screen is initially available in English to Pixel 3 users in the US and will launch to Pixel 1 and 2 users later this year. These transcripts will be saved automatically to the dialer app once the call has ended and will be available for later viewing.

According to a report, Snapchat is said to be planning on releasing a new version of its Spectacles glasses with two cameras and a higher price point of $350 by the end of the year. The new Spectacles is internally codenamed Newport and will feature an all-new design with a more premium frame made of aluminum and cameras capable of producing augmented reality effects in videos.
The $350 price tag is more than double the cost of the first iteration of Spectacles, which were released in 2016. By utilizing two cameras, the Snapchat app will be able to overlay AR lenses and create 3D-like photo effects from footage taken by the Spectacles. The new hardware is in-line with CEO Evan Spiegel’s grand vision of eventually creating eyewear technology that seamlessly overlays virtual objects onto the real world.
Despite the setbacks with the Spectacles, CEO Spiegel is planning to develop future iterations of Spectacles for years to come.
