The Honor 8X comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, pixel density of 396 PPI, 19:5:9 aspect ratio with a notch and a screen-to-body ratio of about 91%. The display is bright, offers good color reproduction, thanks to 85% NTSC color gamut, has good viewing angles and the sunlight legibility is good as well. The company says that it uses Chip on film (COF) technology for low power consumption, small structure, light weight and high resolution.

Spotify has finally introduced its app for the Apple Watch giving users the ability to seamlessly access and control music and podcasts. With this new app, users can enjoy an improved experience with better control and the ability to connect to your speakers or devices.
Spotify is also bringing the ability to listen to your music and podcasts offline. The Apple Watch app packs feature like play/pause, forward/rewind, skip tracks, and more. Waymo, which is a private subsidiary of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., is planning to launch the world’s first commercial driverless car service in the next two months, according to a report from WSJ. It will operate under a new brand and will compete with Uber and Lyft.
Waymo is keeping the new name secret until the formal announcement. The company in an emailed statement said: “Waymo has been working on self-driving technology for nearly a decade, with safety at the core of everything we do.” A Waymo spokesperson declined to comment.
While it may be a big milestone for self-driving cars, it won’t exactly be a “flip-the-switch” moment. The service of the Waymo won't appear in Play/AppStore anytime soon, instead, things will start small—perhaps dozens or hundreds of authorized riders in the suburbs around Phoenix, covering about 100 square miles.

Google has announced that it is rolling out a newly expanded Google Safety Center with updated resources and pulled even more information into one site dedicated to educating and empowering people on important topics like data security, privacy controls, and online protections for all of our users.

WhatsApp in the recent day has been on a roll as it is pushing new features in regular intervals. New to join the list is the ability to share own contact info and to quickly add contacts. The feature, however, is not available yet, but the company is seriously working on the ability to bring Share Contact Info via QR.
With this feature, users can quickly add contacts directly from within the application. Though something similar was available already, the company wants to make it easier by redesigning the functionality from the ground up on iOS and Android. The feature will replace the current option, so it will be located in the same menu.
The UI is very simple and intuitive. You can choose the country where the user is located, so WhatsApp will automatically insert the country code, then you can insert the phone number. Samsung is all set to launch its top-end Galaxy A9 2018 (SM-A920F) smartphone with quad-rear cameras in India on November 20th. The phone will be launched exclusively on Flipkart, similar to the A7 2018. According to IANS the phone will be launched for around Rs 35,000, even though earlier rumors revealed it will be priced around Rs. 40,000.

Back in September Qualcomm's next-generation flagship Mobile Platform which is said to be released as SM8150 passed through Geekbench revealing scores on-par with the Apple’s A11 Bionic chip and better than the Snapdragon 845-powered flagships. Now the SoC has passed through AnTuTu revealing whopping 362292 points, better than Apple's A12 Bionic chip that scored around 3.5 lakhs, and Kirin 980's score of 2.7 lakhs.
The Snapdragon 8150 is said to adopt tri-cluster architecture with large, medium and small cores with a large core, three medium cores and four small cores running at a maxium frequency of 2.84GHz. 2.4GHz and 1.78GHz, respectively. It is said to use Andreno 640 with 20% better performance compared to Adreno 630.
Qualcomm already confirmed that the SoC will be built on the 7nm process node and will be 5G-capable when paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 is expected to be announced in Q4 2018 and power smartphones early next year starting from Samsung Galaxy S10. We should know more details soon.

Asus after the success of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is working on the successor dubbed; Max Pro M2 and a Pro model. The devices come with ZB631KL, ZB633KL, ZB634KL model numbers. The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 ZB631KL is said to sport a 6-inches FHD+ display, 4GB RAM, 64/128GB and 13MP camera.

It will have a triple-rear camera, however, the details of the same are still unknown at the moment. As for the other model, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 ZB633 packs a similar 6-inch FHD+ display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with 4GB RAM coupled with 32/64GB storage.

Intel India has inaugurated its latest design house, SRR4, at its Bengaluru campus. It also announced key initiatives to promote innovation in the technology ecosystem. The company has invested over Rs. 1100 crore. It is located in a 44-acre campus on Sarjapur Ring Road (SRR) in Bengaluru.
This campus will extend Intel’s R&D presence in India, it will house technologists who work on cutting-edge engineering across hardware and software. The new building is equipped with IoT-based smart features, including smart lights and real-time occupancy management, as well as innovative energy harvesting tiles installed at the entrance of the building that generates and store energy.
Additionally, it uses renewable energy sources like solar and fuel cells for power generation, which is expected to meet 40% of the building’s power demand and reduce CO2 emissions by 37%. HMD Global today announced an event in Dubai on December 5th to unveil three new smartphones. It has #expectmore. After live images back in August, and renders last month, we have the first press render of the Moto G7, the successor of Moto G6. The phone has also been certified by the FCC in U.S. with the model number XT-1965. This confms Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 3000mAh battery and dimensions.
The Moto G7 is said to feature a glass back similar to the G6.Below the dual camera module there is a fingerprint sensor that is embedded inside the Motorola logo. The phone also comes with a USB Type-C port, and a bottom-mounted speaker grille.

Update - November 16: Sony has rolled out new Android Pie update with build number 52.0.A.3.84 that includes November security patch for the Xperia XZ2 Premium, Xperia XZ3, Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact.
Earlier: Sony has started rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie update to the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1, and Xperia XZ1 Compact as it had promised. At the moment, the update is rolled out in batch-wise in specific regions, and model number, but should have widened release in the coming days. The update brings the model number 47.2.A.0.306.
It also brings October 2018 Android security patch. Since the update was due in October but got delayed due to last minutes bugs and this is why we suspect Sony didn’t push the update with the latest November security patches.
The new update brings Sony’s new camera interface, Full HD 960fps slow-motion video support and HDR video image enhancement (X-Reality with HDR converter). Selfie camera display flash is also included. However, Sony hasn't updated the interface with gestures and you will have to rely on navigation buttons. Other inclusions in Pie include Adaptive Battery power prioritization for users’ most commonly used apps/services, Adaptive and optimized brightness levels, Predictive Application Actions and more.
