Vivo ranks high amongst the brands that have been at the forefront of smartphone innovation. Be it in-screen fingerprint recognition, hi-fi music chips, motorized cameras or sheer camera technology, the company is making massive strides towards bringing the next-generation technology to consumers. The X21 was amongst the first Vivo smartphones with Dual Pixel camera technology (2PD). With the V11 Pro launch right around the corner, we expect the phone to pack the same tech. Let’s take a deeper look into the Dual Pixel technology to see what makes it tick. There’s a lot going on with the camera on the Vivo V11 Pro, the 12MP primary sensor that is paired with a 5MP secondary sensor for better low light capabilities and of course, portrait mode. What caught our eye was the f/1.8 aperture lens on the primary camera that should go a long way in improving low light capabilities. The 1.28 µm pixel sensor size too is adequate to enable high quality low light photography. The most interesting of course is the dual pixel technology that is poised to improve low light capture and more importantly, the autofocus capabilities. First things first, light is the biggest factor in photography. A higher pixel ...

Samsung is reportedly working on its ambitious foldable smartphone for some time now. In a recent development, CEO of the mobile division, Samsung, Koh Dong Jin, said that the foldable smartphone will be launched later this year. According to Koh, the mobile needs to unfold in case users need to browse or do something. While he remains tight lips about the device, more details are expected to be unveiled this year at the Samsung Developer Conference in November in San Francisco. With this strategy, the company is planning to strengthen its mobile market since they've witnessed fall 20 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2018. In addition to it, the company is also planning to change its strategy in the mid-range segment by implementing more technology at a lower price bracket. Ever since the rise of Chinese handset makers like Huawei, OnePlus and others, Samsung is facing stiff competition all over. Source

If you're in the market for a new smartphone, you've probably heard of the POCO F1 by now. An all new sub brand by Xiaomi, the POCO is aimed at giving you all out performance and all the other features you expect from a high end phone, at a very affordable price. Yes, we've heard that before. Heck the entire 'Flagship Killer' category stemmed from providing high end internals at a relatively low cost price. Now, before we do a deep down on the phone, let me just put it out there. The POCO F1 is possibly the best deal in smartphones right now and yet, it is not exactly a flagship and/or a  OnePlus 6 killer. Confused? Let us explain. For the first time OnePlus is rumored partner with T-Mobile network in the US for the OnePlus 6T which is expected to launch in October. We should get to know more details in the coming months.
