GoPro introduced Fusion, a 360-degree camera that can record 5.2K 360-spherical videos at 30Fps or 3.2K videos at 60fps back in September last year. Today the company has launched the camera in India. It has built-in, gimbal-like stabilization for super smooth videos and the new Mobile OverCapture allows users to create traditional video from a spherical footage.
It comes with an 18-megapixel sensor that can capture spherical images and videos with 360-degree audio. It is designed to withstand any shooting environment since it is waterproof up to 5 meters and also has support for voice controls in 10 languages.
When paired with the GoPro App, Fusion becomes an end-to-end solution going from capture to edit and share with ease. The GoPro App enables users to control the Fusion camera, live preview shots, and stitch, trim and share content right from their devices. The OverCapture feature allows users to re-frame and save traditional fixed-perspective videos "punched out" from the large 360-degree video.
The GoPro Fusion is priced at Rs. 60,000 and is available across GoPro’s multiple retail partner channels including select Croma stores and other photo specialist stores across India.
Last month Apple announced that the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) will be launched in India on May 11th with pre-orders starting from May 4th. Today Reliance Jio has started pre-orders for it on its website. Airtel has started pre-registrations for the new Apple Watch, and says that it the bookings will begin on May 11th.
This uses an eSIM, so you don’t require a separate SIM. Reliance Jio is offering JioEverywhereConnect service that allows you to use the same Jio number on both your iPhone and the Apple Watch. The JioEverywhereConnect service will be available at no extra cost to iPhone users.

Details about the LG V35 ThinQ, an upgraded version of the V30S ThinQ surfaced last month, and @evleaks said that the V35 ThinQ code-named Emma will be introduced around the same time as the G7 ThinQ. Now the G7 ThinQ is official, A&T confirmed that they would not carry this phone, but will launch another phone this Summer, which will likely be the V35 ThinQ. Even the press render that has surfaced reveals the same.
This is expected to feature a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display without a notch, same as the V30S ThinQ, but it is expected to feature dual 16-megapixel rear cameras, one with a 107-degree super-wide-angle lens.

Chinese smartphone maker iVOOMi has launched FitMe, a fitness band that has option to indicate Air Quality Index (AQI) or pollution, which tells you how clean or unhealthy the air around you is, so that you can take necessary steps to prevent the associated health hazards. This feature provides information on AQI across all Indian cities. The FitMe Health Band also provides information about the weather conditions.
It has IP67 ratings for water-resistance and has a 0.87” OLED scratch-proof display. It features a Heart Rate Monitor, Sleep Monitor, Long Sitting Alert, Running Mode, Vibration Reminder, Pedometer and more. It uses Bluetooth 4.2 and has auto-sync for Smart Me OS 2.0.

After Reliance Jio, Airtel today has announced the launch of ‘Airtel TV Free Hit’interactive gamification experience for its users. It is an in-app quiz based game where users have to answer a set of questions related to the ongoing T20 action. Airtel is also offering daily cash prizes from a total of over two crore rupees.
The Airtel TV Free Hit gaming experience is available to users in two versions; Airtel TV Free Hit LIVE that users can play every day before the T20 match at 7:30 pm and a non-LIVE version that can be played along the with the T20 match telecast. However, users will have to upgrade the app first and register themselves.
For now, Airtel TV FREE Hit is available to Android, and the company didn't mention anything about iOS roll out. The game also offers 'life' which comes in handy evading users from elimination during the course of T20 matches. Airtel will extend the 'lives' upon watching the game until the end and can be utilized for the next/ upcoming match as well.

Earlier this week IDC reported that global smartphone shipments reached a total of 334.3 million units during the first quarter of 2018. Now Strategy Analytics has reported that global smartphone shipments reached 345 million units in Q1 2018. Despite the claims of being on the costlier side, the Apple's iPhone X becomes the best selling model with shipping touching an impressive 16 million units during the quarter.
As for the Android side of things, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus retained the world’s top-selling Android smartphone models position. LG has announced K30, the company's latest smartphone in the 'K Series' in the U.S. for T-Mobile. Google is now rolling out a new beta update to the Gboard for Android which brings the ability to create own Gifs using the camera, new sticker gallery. The GIF creation feature was spotted in previous Gboard APK being tested internally and is now finally making its way to the beta.
To create your own Gif, you have to open the GIF interface in the keyboard, and hover to "My GIFs" tab to create one. Gboard will ask for your permission to access camera for the first time and once you allow, you will get a full-screen camera interface to create your own Gif which can be three seconds long. To make the Gifs even more expressive, Google is also including filters. You can save the Gifs that you created in the My GIFs tab and re-use it later as well.
However, for now, this feature seems to be limited to selected devices or users but should roll out soon. Furthermore, Google has also added a new sticker gallery to Gboard, which now looks a lot like company's chat application, Allo. It even has the blobmoji. Apple had acquired the Next Issue Media LLC’s digital magazine service Texture back in March and it is also said to be planning to launch a News subscription service in 2019. Today the company announced that it is shutting down Texture’s Windows magazine app at the end of June.
Texture is informing its users about the shutdown this week through emails and a note inside the app. The message reads, "this app will stop working and will no longer be available in the Microsoft Store.” However, the support for Android, Amazon Fire, and iOS apps will continue. With Texture's windows app not seeing any update for quite some time, this move is a long time coming.
Since Texture is not available on the web, subscribers might have to pick another compatible device to continue using Texture services. It might be possible that Apple would create a cross-platform way to access all of the content it distributes, but for now, there is no news on such service just yet.

Samsung announced the Galaxy A6 (SM-A600F) and Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) smartphones in the ‘Galaxy A Series’ after several leaks. Both the phones come with Super AMOLED Infinity displays with 18.5:9 screen ratio, but the A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ screen while the A6+ features a 6-inch FHD+ screen.
Both the phones have a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and the A6+ also has a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera with Live Focus mode that lets you control the depth of field and bokeh effect before or even after the shot is taken. HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone in India last month, and the phone went on sale in the country last week. As we had mentioned in the review, the phone has support for 4G VoLTE in one SIM, while the other SIM supports only 3G. HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter has confirmed that the phone will soon get support for 4G on both the SIMs via an update.

It should also support 4G VoLTE on both the SIMs. This feature is available in only in Honor View 10 and the Chinese version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but the Indian version of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is expected to get the support soon.
With the Dual 4G option, you can enable 4G and VoLTE on both the SIMs and switch between them easily. At the launch, the company also confirmed that it will also bring Face Unlock feature via an update, which is available in the Chinese variant already.
