Huawei just announced MediaPad M5 series 10.8" and 8.4" at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 960 SoC and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0 on top. It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. It has a metal unibody design and also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display.
The 10.8-inch comes with Quad Speakers and the 8.4-inch version has Dual speakers. Both have Huawei Histen sound support, are Harman Kardon audio certified and Support Hi-Res Audio. These have 5100 and 7500mAh battery, respectively with support for QuickCharge technology. The larger model also has pogo pins on the back for keyboard support.
There is also MediaPad M5 Pro model that has similar specifications as the 10-inch model, but it comes with M-Pen Stylus with 4096-layer pressure sensitivity.

ZTE at the MWC 2018 event has announced the Temp Go Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone. It comes with a 5-inches FWVGA display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB RAM. The Temp Go is not just one of the first Android Oreo (Go Edition) phones to go official, it is the first Go Edition from ZTE.

HMD Global, apart from Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 and Nokia 8110, also introduced a brand new variant of the Nokia 8 dubbed; Nokia 8 Sirocco and is also an Android One variant. While the core specifications remain almost same, there are few additions on board like the glass body for wireless charging support, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and more.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco Edition now packs reduced bezels at the front with slightly curved edges. The Sirocco edition gets a new Pro Camera mode which you might have found on the old Nokia Lumia devices. However, there is no headphone jack present which is a huge tradeoff and will have to rely on the USB Type-C for audio.

Samsung just announced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphones is the variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur.
Similar to the Sony's flagships, this has 960fps Super Slow-mo video option. It has automatic Motion Detection and an intelligent feature that detects movement in the frame and automatically begins to record. After capturing the Super Slow-mo video, you can also select background music from 35 different options or add a tune from their favorite playlist.
Both the phones have Infinity Display – an end-to-end, bezel-less screen that extends to the phone’s sides. S9 comes with a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ screen and the S9+ comes with a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ screen, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back, same as the predecessors.

Canon today announced the EOS M50 4K mirrorless camera and entry-level EOS Rebel T7 with a 24.1-megapixel sensor. The EOS M50 is the company's first mirrorless M-series camera with 4K recording capabilities and features DIGIC 8 processor with a 24.1megapixel sensor.
The Canon EOS Rebel T7 entry-level DSLR Cameras comes with an upgraded CMOS sensor to deliver sharp, high-resolution images. It comes with built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, Scene Intelligent Auto Mode, and an Optical View Finder. The rest of the specifications remain mostly the as the T6. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is said to be working on high-end over-ear headphones that are expected to launch later this year. In the latest research note outlining, KGI predicts his expectations for Apple's "acoustic accessories" pipeline later this year along with AirPods.

Samsung at the Unpacked event along with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ also introduced the new DexPad accessory. It is an upgrade to the original Dex Station that was introduced last year. It removes the need for a keyboard and a trackpad.
The Samsung DexPad with a USB Type-C port lets you connect your phone where it sits flat and use it both as a keyboard dubbed "Touch Keyboard" and a trackpad dubbed "TouchPad." While we don't like to write on the phone in that position, but comes in handy to use it as a tracked pad with such a large display.
The DeX Pad is capable of powering displays up to 2560x1440, compared to the 1080p on DeX Station. Connectivity is similar as the Dex Station with two USB ports, a USB Type-C port, and an HDMI port, but the Ethernet port is unfortunately gone.
It is not just compatible with the Galaxy S9 and S9+, but can also be used with Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note8. Samsung also says that Touch Keyboard functionality will be added in an upcoming software update. No pricing or availability details are revealed yet, but it should be available along with the Galaxy S9 phones next month.

Like the original 8110, flipping down the slider can be used to answer calls or snap open the interface. Much has changed this time around though. The big chunky buttons from the 1996 classic have been replaced by a flat button layout similar to what we saw on last year’s reboot of the 3310. The entire front fascia is equal parts retro and Nordic chic in the way that it manages a clean and seamless look. A small bar on the front slider makes it easy to pull it down.

HMD Global introduced Nokia 7 Plus, a mid-range Android One smartphone at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It is the successor of the Nokia 7 that was introduced in China last year. Check out the hands-on impressions and the photo gallery of the phone.
The new Nokia 7 Plus is a very intriguing device that sits somewhere between a mid ranger and a flagship. There’s an obvious focus on design and aesthetics here. We love the metal build of the phone alongside the cool design touches that we’ve come to expect from the brand. The copper bezels on the black variant make the phone look gorgeous.
The 7 Plus has a large 6 inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio which makes it easier to hold in the hand. With it’s curved corners set within a dark frame, the phone looks deceptively like a Pixel 2 XL, more so with the stock build of Android on-board.
