The car holder is built in two segments. A very sturdy base that locks on to the surface by creating a vacuum between the surface and the base. A swivel clasp near the base lets you easily install or remove the holder. In our testing, the seal was incredibly solid and the holder remained stuck, no matter how bad the condition of the roads was.
The base connects to the actual holder by means of a ball and socket joint that allows for a lot of flexibility in setting up the holder exactly the way you want it. The holder integrates wireless charging and NFC. The charger connects from the lighter port in your car to the charging base via a 2.5mm pin cable. The box contents include a 1.5m extension cable.

We reported about the device back in July and Xolo started teasing about the device on their Facebook page earlier this week. Every once in a while we come across a product that is a bit ahead of the curve or perhaps such a niche that it is hard to accept it in its current incarnation. The Xperia Z Ultra while not exactly revolutionary, does have the inklings of what might be come the future of smart computing. But is it good enough to convince us ? Read on to find out.
Design
Two words come to your mind when you view the Xperia Z Ultra. Gorgeous, Massive. The all glass smartphone – tablet hybrid is a play on the design first pioneered by Sony on the Xperia Z earlier this year. Sony has a heritage of making beautiful products and the craftsmanship on the Xperia Z Ultra is a testament to that design culture.
The front of the device is comprised of what is perhaps the largest smartphone display we’ve come across yet. Indeed the handset that clocks in at 179.4 x 92.2 x 6.5mm stretches the limits of smartphone dimensions. The glass and metal build of the handset also take a toll on the weight of the device that comes in at well above 200 grams.

LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II and their dual SIM variants earlier this February. The L4 II Dual went on sale in India last month and the entry-level phone L1 II was announced earlier this month. Now evleaks has leaked the press image and the specifications of the L9 II, the successor of the Optimus L9 that was launched last year. The Optimus L9 II would have a similar 4.7-inch display, but this would have a 720p display instead of the qHD display and the processor has been upgraded to 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8320 processor instead of 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430. It is expected to run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
It is not sure whether this would come with dual SIM support since it doesn't have a SIM switch key that was present on the other Dual SIM phones in the L Series II lineup.

Oppo already revealed that they were working on the flagship camera-centric devices dubbed the N-lens, later the name was confirmed as the N1 and leaked renders surfaced recently. Gionee GPad G3, successor of the GPad G2 is coming soon says Gionee. The company shared an image of the device on their Facebook page, saying that it would come with a 5.5-inch display. It did not reveal the display resolution or any other details. According to rumors the phone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The rear camera is likely to be downgraded to 5-megapixels and the front-facing camera would be downgraded to 0.3-megapixels.

With the next generation iPhone right around the corner, rumors are rife as to what new colors will be available. We've already seen case leaks for the champagne gold colored variant but Sonny Dickson today reported that the handset will also be available in a gunmetal grey color. The variant will join the existing silver/white and black versions.
Apple is expected to show off its new iPhone alongside the more affordable iPhone 5c at an event on September 10th. While the iPhone 5c will ship in a range of vibrant colors, Apple seems to have kept the premium combinations and materials for its flagship. Under the hood, the phone is expected to get a newer A7 processor chip. Another rumor suggests that the handset might come with a fingerprint reader embedded below the home button which seems a bit far fetched. That said, if implemented, it could make entering passwords or credit card information redundant. With just two weeks to go, we can't wait to see what Apple brings to the table. We would however advice keeping expectations in check considering historical precedent suggests that the 'S' cycle of iPhone updates are generally incremental.

We've previously brought you details and leaked images of Nokia's Windows RT tablet. Following a spate of reports published today, the tablet is all but confirmed. As expected, the tablet will follow the same design language as seen on the Finnish company's Lumia range of devices. The device will run on a Snapdragon 800 processor and will be equipped with a 1080p display that is expected to have the ClearBlack technology as seen on its phones. This technology helps makes displays much more readable even under direct sunlight.

LG Optimus L9 II that leaked yesterday, has been officially announced in Netherlands. It comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor (Probably Snapdragon 400) . It packs a 2150 mAh battery and a Infrared transmitter for Quick-Remote. Other details are not available yet, but according to the rumors, it is expected to come with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also likely to run Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), pack 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

Sony Mobile has announced that they have started rolling out a new software update (v6.2.B.1.96) for the Sony Xperia S, SL and acro S that brings lot of performance and stability tweaks / improvements. Sony says that they have received lot of feed back regarding issues in the recent Android 4.1 build that started rolling out back in May. Sony announced the list of high-end devices that would get the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update and promised that they would roll out the updates faster.

LG released a teaser video for its upcoming LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. Though the video had little to do with the tablet, it was about various people talking what they use their tablet for and what would make them use it more. The theme of the teaser goes by "What would make a tablet just right for you?". The new LG G Pad is expected to be announced at the IFA in early September.

From the video, we couldn't guess much other than the fact that the G Pad 8.3 will have an 8.3 inch display of Full HD resolution (probably 1920x1200). According to rumors and other reports, the G Pad 8.3 is expected to have a Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz. The leaked render shows the LG G Pad 8.3 right next to the company's flagship - G2.
