Microsoft has finally launched the Nokia Lumia 930, the company's latest high-end smartphone. It was announced back in April and packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD ClearBlack AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
It packs a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera with new oversampling technology, ZEISS optics with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual LED flash. It has a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Nokia Rich Recording with four microphones and has Surround Sound capabilities.

Yesterday, the HTC One M8 Eye was rumored to arrive next month. Today, a press render has emerged from Weibo that shows the phone, which features a 13MP duo camera instead of a 4MP Ultra pixel one on the existing HTC One M8.
Other features of the smartphone will most likely be same as the One M8 including a 5 inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and the iconic stereo BoomSound speakers on the front. Also, HTC is keeping the 5MP front facing camera constant on the One M8 Eye. @upleaks who is a popular leakster, is claiming on Twitter that the HTC One M8 Eye will be available only in India and China. He also seconded the 13MP duo camera report and added that the phone will not support NFC.
It is being said that HTC will announce the One M8 Eye on October 8 at the 'Double Exposure' Event where the company is also expected to announce a GoPro competitor camera dubbed as RECamera that has been leaked last week.

Next generation iPad Air or the iPad Air 2 will come in gold color option, according to a latest report from Bloomberg. The report claims that the new gold color option will be available only the iPad Air and not for the iPad mini.
Moving on, the report said that the gold variant in iPad will be available along with grey and silver models. It stated that the decision to add a gold color option is to boost tablet sales. The new option would bring the iPad in sync with the iPhones in terms of color. Apple started selling iPhones in three colors since last year's iPhone 5s.
Apple is expected to announce the iPad Air 2 next month and is reportedly expected to come with 2GB RAM. They are also expected to be powered by the next-gen A8 processor. Alleged photos of the iPad Air 2 had leaked in August that showed the device with a rear shell with a redesigned speaker grill and a relocated rear microphone next to the camera.

LG has announced F60, the company's latest smartphone in the F series, after the F90 and the F70 smartphones. It has a 4.5-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the F70 that was launched in India back in July. In a bid to enhance its Apps for Education service, Google has launched the Drive for Education initiative. Under this latest initiative, new and existing customers can take advantage of many new features.
For starters, users will get unlimited storage however, support for individual files is restricted up to 5TB along with automatic encryption. Google’s new Drive for Education service offers the same functionality of Drive for Work only for free. Also included with the service is free access to the Google Apps Vault, used for email compliance, and enhanced auditing for file activity.
"Every file uploaded to Google Drive is encrypted, not only from your device to Google and in transit between Google data centers, but also at rest on Google servers. As always, the data that schools and students put into our systems is theirs. Classroom, which recently launched to Google Apps for Education users, makes using Drive in school even better by automatically organizing all Classroom assignments into Drive folders. "

Yota Devices would launch the YotaPhone in India exclusively on Flipkart. This was revealed in the newsletter sent to the Flipkart's affiliate partners. The smartphone was listed on the official website last month, as noted by MakTechBlog, but it was pulled later. Still the cache of the page on the Flipkart website reveals the incomplete listing of the first YotaPhone C9660 in White.
The YotaPhone was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last year and went on sale in several counties in December last year for 499 Euros. Not it retails for 449 Euros. It has 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD capacitive multi touch main screen and a 4.3-inch (360×640 pixels) E-Ink rear screen. Huawei has unveiled a mobile WiFi hotspot device- Prime E5878 that delivers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and connectivity for up to 10 devices with a range of 100 meters.
The mobile WiFi device with OLED screen display that runs on HiSilicon A9 dual-core chipset and LTE Cat4 connectivity. It is 7.5mm thick and measure 109.5mm long and 58mm wide. The Prime E5878 according to Huawei, uses Nano Molding Technology (NMT), which combines metal with polymer into a seamless material thereby making it slim.
Huawei Prime also incorporates symmetrical dual lenses for its OLED screen, which in addition to being scratch and crack resistant, are integrated seamlessly with the metal to present a dazzling, polished feel. Microsoft today launched the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM, Lumia 930 and Lumia 830 in India. In addition, the company has launched its recently announced Lumia HD 10 Screen Sharing accessory in India for Rs 5,999.
Lumia HD-10 allows users to tap their phone on it and share their screen to other device. Content ranging from photos, videos, music, movies, games and more can be shared to other device by using the Lumia HD-10. The device is 80 mm in diameter, 21 mm in thickness and weighs 115 g.
It can be connected to a large screen television via the HDMI cable and is powered by a Micro-USB. In addition there is a removable NFC disc that can identify your phone to the HD-10 and mirrors the content on the phone’s screen via Miracast technology. The Lumia HD-10 is only compatible with Lumia phones and available in white and black.

Alcatel OneTouch has launched the Alcatel Onetouch Fire C smartphone running Firefox OS in India. It was introduced earlier this year at the MWC and packs a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz processor and a 1.3-megapixel rear camera. It has 2G (EDGE) connectivity and Dual SIM support. It is exclusively being launched on Flipkart. Spice and Intex launched their budget Firefox OS smartphones recently.
The Firefox OS is based on HTML5, has Adaptive App Search or the Single Window Search and comes pre-loaded with Facebook, Twitter and more apps. It also has Firefox marketplace to download more apps. It supports Indian languages like English, Bangla, Tamil and Hindi.

India will add 300 million internet users by 2018, according to a latest report by McKinsey & Company and Facebook. The report said that country's internet penetration rate is only 15%.
The online population in the country could reach just under 500 million people, stated the report. Factors like increasing mobile internet adoption, urbanization, growing middle class, decreasing cost of device and data plans and increasing utility of internet will help increase the number of online population. From 2008 to 2013, India’s online population increased at a CAGR of 30 percent; by 2013, approximately 189 million Indian consumers were online there making it third largest country with internet users just behind China and the US.
Social connectivity is a big driver of Internet usage. In urban India, 89 percent of the online population uses the Internet for online communication, 75 percent for social networking, 69 percent for entertainment, and 50 percent for online shopping. 376 Rural Internet users cited entertainment as their number one use (87 percent), reflecting the widespread appeal of Bollywood productions and other movies and the popularity of sports such as cricket. Asus has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the ZenFone 4 (A400CG), ZenFone 5 (A500/A501CG) and ZenFone 6 (A600/A601CG) smartphones. In India the update is now rolling out for the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) smartphone. The Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that went on sale in India recently runs on Android KitKat out of the box. The KitKat update the entire Zenfone series is available in China, Taiwan and other countries. It brings call blocking, video effects or filters, full dual standby with two SIM cards (dual SIM models only) and a special Do Not Disturb mode.

The leaks were prophetic, indeed. Motorola introduced the Moto 360 smartwatch in the US last month. At the launch event in India, the company said that it would launch the smartwatch on Flipkart late September. It launched the new Moto X in India last week, but it did not reveal the price or the launch date for the Moto 360 smartwatch. Now it has been priced on Flipkart for Rs. 17,999. It is costlier than the Samsung Gear Live and the LG G Watch, the first two smartwatches that are based on Android Wear.
The Moto 360 has a 1.5-inch touchscreen display with a 320 x 290 resolution and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by TI OMAP 3 SoC, has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has pedometer, optical heart rate monitor and has IP67 rating for water resistance.

A recent report revealed that mobile internet adoption is increasing in India. Today Google has announced that it has released a streamlined version of Google Search that would enable Indian mobile internet users search faster even with slow data connection such as 2G.
Regarding the faster search, on their official blog, Google said,
Now, we will automatically check to see if a user has a slow wireless connection and deliver a fast loading version of Search.Google's high-quality results will remain the same, but elements such as images and maps will only show up when they are an essential part of the result.
First Google called it Project Verylite, but later it removed the name. There are several mobile browsers such as Opera Mini that compresses the data by up to 90% so that you can save time and money.
Lighter Google search would save time by offering faster results and also save your money since it consumes less data.
