Sony Xperia Z3 Compact along with Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact was unveiled at the company’s press event in Berlin two days ago. We were at the show floor during the announcement and we had a chance to spend some quality time with the Xperia Z3 Compact. Sony has re-written the concept of true compact flagship smartphone with the Xperia Z3 Compact. The fact that the device has virtually the same hardware specifications as its bigger brother is what makes us to say that. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is as impressive as the Xperia Z3 in almost all aspects. If you are wondering why, well the small-screen version features the same processor, GPU and internal storage among other things. The only aspect we think that could have been better is the screen resolution. A 4.7-inch 720p display is not sharp by today’s standard. The Xperia Z3 Compact is a proper upgrade over its predecessor, the Xperia Z1 Compact. The newer model is thinner, lighter and comes with gorgeous color combinations. However, the smartphone has lost its metal frame, but doesn’t feel cheap in the hands. Sony had built the Z3 Compact with a slightly different ...

Sony announced its first midrange tablet, dubbed Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact at its IFA event two days ago. We got some time to play with the slate and here’s our hands-on report. For starters, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes with an 8-inch display, which is of WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). While the company claims that the QHD panels don’t offer much sharpness than the regular 1080p displays, we don’t think their argument stands especially considering the screen size on the compact tablet. The feature that excites us the most is it’s really impress ultra-slim 6.4mm waistline and of course its weight. At just under 270 grams, the tablet feels like a feather in the hands. Sony in its latest tablet has ditched the dual-glass panel design and has instead gone for a matte rear panel. It’s a welcome change considering that the back is now resistant to fingerprints and also plays an important role in keeping the weight down. Under the hood of the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5GHz CPU, Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The hardware is undoubtedly one of the high-performing combinations currently available in the ...

Most of us spend a good deal of time in front of our computers and we have little or zero physical activity and these Fitness trackers are supposed to help us exercise more and stay fit. That is how became a  big fan of fitness gadgets and it all started with my purchase of a FitBit Ultra back in 2012 and then the FitBit. Since then I have tried pretty much all the Fitness trackers out there from the FitBit to the Jawbone Up, Nike Fuel Band, Garmin Vivofit, Samsung Gear Fit and more. It all starts with a great level of usage and excitement, but sooner or later I end up giving up on the device and it end up collecting dust. Most of the fitness trackers out there have more or less the same features. Some might offer sleep tracking as a bonus feature but a Fitbit pretty much does the same work for you as a Jawbone UP or a Garmin Vivofit.  But why do I give up on every Fitness device after a few weeks with it ? The main issue is not the lack of some cool feature or such but the lack of motivation to ...
