New Moto G packaging surfaces in new leak

New photo of the Moto G successor has leaked just days away from official launch this week. This time the leak shows the phone is a box at Flipkart's warehouse. The image was posted by a Google+ user. The box boasts of the name Moto G indicating that Motorola might not change the name of the phone at all. Until now the Moto G successor was touted as Moto G 2 but if we are to believe this photos it looks like the phone will bear the same name. This might mean that Motorola is upgrading the specs of the phone but sticking to the original name. Motorola has also scheduled an event in India on September 5th where it is expected to announce the new products. The Moto G successor is expected to have 5 inch screen and 8MP camera. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and run on latest Android KitKat. Last week, photos of the phone were also leaked that seconded the 5 inch screen. Meizu MX4 with 5.36-inch full HD display, 20.7MP camera, Octa-Core processor announced

Meizu has finally announced the MX4, the company's latest flagship smartphone. It has a 5.36-inch (1920 x 1152 pixels) IPS display with 15: 9 aspect ratio and 2.6mm slim bezels on the sides. The display has 85% increase in NTSC color gamut, 1100:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of up to 600 nit. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor and runs on Flyme OS 4.0. It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 1/2.3" Sony IMX 220 Exmor RS sensor, pixel size of 1.2 microns, two dedicated ISPs for 0.3 second focus speed, 20 second long exposure and 4K video recording. HTC Nexus tablet likely to get keyboard accessory: Report

Google and HTC are set to unveil an official keyboard case for an upcoming Nexus Tablet, as per a report from Android Police. The report cites information provided to the site from unnamed sources and states that HTC and Google will have different official accessories for the tablet known as the “Flounder” or “Volantis”. Along with the photo of the keyboard, an image of the general outline of the keyboard folio has been revealed in the report. Rumors and reports about a possibility of the HTC Nexus tablet have been looming for a long time now. The image shows that the cover will have segmented sections that resembles to Apple’s Smart Cover. It will fold up and support the tablet when in use. Moving on, the tablet can be locked and unlocked with the help of the case automatically. According to the image the case looks similar to Microsoft's Type keyboard for the Surface line of Windows tablets. It will boast of a QWERTY keyboard with few Android navigation keys. Microsoft accidentally teases Windows 9

Recently, it was reported that the Microsoft will preview the Windows 9 on September 30th. Now, the software and tech giant has accidentally teased the next iteration of Windows, announcing that it is coming soon. In a post on Weibo, Microsoft China asked, "Microsoft's latest OS Windows 9 is coming soon, do you think the start menu at the left bottom will make a come back?". The post was accompanied by a Windows 9 logo but was soon taken down from the website. However, Chinese site Cnbeta was able to grab the image and post details before it was pulled shortly after. Microsoft is also rumored to schedule a Technology Preview of the operating system, aimed at developers, that will be available in October. The company will bring the Start Menu back in Windows 9 it will have an array of UI changes along with the ability to run modern Windows apps within a window on the desktop. Samsung launches digital education store in India

Samsung has announced the launch India's first digital education store that offers interactive study materials for students. The company has rolled out the store under its MSC (Media Solutions Center) division. The 'Samsung Smart Learning' Stores will offer solutions to the educational needs of over 70 million students studying in classes 1st to 12th for CBSE board and another 4.5 million students who are preparing for competitive examinations. Sony E-Mount camera for smartphones leaked ahead of IFA launch

At the time of announcing its IFA 2014 event, Sony teased a new smartphone camera lens. Today images of the ILCE-QX1 E-mount camera has surfaced online ahead of the official event tomorrow. It is an E-mount camera module with interchangeable Alpha lenses, unlike the QX10 and QX100 camera lenses that were unveiled at IFA last year. Sony is also rumored to launch the QX30 smartphone lens with 30x zoom. We still don't have the sensor size, but the images reveal that it is has Exmor APS-C sensor, connectivity via WiFi and NFC and also a popup flash. According to source it should cost 300 Euros for the body and 450 Euros with the 16-50mm lens. The Sony press conference starts at 4:15PM CEST (7:45PM IST) tomorrow. Toshiba Encore Mini 7 inch Windows 8.1 tablet announced for $119.99

Toshiba has announced the launch of 7 inch Encore Mini Windows 8.1 tablet. Priced at $119.99, the tablet has 1024x600 resolution and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G processor and 1 GB of RAM. The Encore Mini sports a slim 0.43-inch profile and weighs just 12.5 ounces. It has a 2 MP rear and 0.3 front facing camera, 16GB storage and a microSD card slot.  Other specs include micro USB 2.0 port and support for 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Toashiba is also giving a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal and 1TB of OneDrive storage to users. “With Encore Mini, we worked hand-in-hand with Microsoft to deliver a high-quality small-screen Windows 8.1 tablet at an entry-class price point. 13.3 inch Toshiba Chromebook 2 announced, price starts from $249

Along with the 7 inch Encore Mini Windows 8.1 tablet, Toshiba unveiled its next generation Chromebook. The company has annonced two models that are dubbed as Chromebook 2. Both the models sport a 13.3 inch display in a 12-inch chassis. The first model is priced at $249 and features 1,280 x 720 HD display while the high end model has a 1,366x768-pixel resolution display and will cost $330. Toshiba Chromebooks boast of a silvery finish and measures 12.6 x 8.4 x 0.76-inches and weighs 2.95 pounds. Each model will have an Intel Celeron N2840 Bay Trail processor, 16GB of storage, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI output, an SD card reader, and 802.11ac WiFi. The battery life is rated upto 9 hours for the high end model while 11 hours for the standard one.  Toshiba is also offering 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years. Toshiba Chromebook 2 also have SkullCandy audio with high-quality bass and a wide range of audio.  The Toshiba Chromebook 2 will be available starting October 5.

Micromax sends invite to launch a new smartphone on September 8

Micromax has sent out press invites to launch a new smartphone on September in New Delhi. The event was supposed to happen on September 1st, but it got postponed. The invitation doesn't reveal anything apart from the time, date and location, but the company today teased a new smartphone on their Facebook page back that reveal few details about the smartphone. It also says that it would launch exclusively on Snapdeal. [HTML1] The teaser reveals the back of a smartphone with leather-like back cover, rear camera with LED flash. Another teaser of Snapdeal's Facebook page teases the phone with the same image and captions such as Divide No More, Now Everyone Can. So this could be a premium smartphone at affordable cost. Sony Xperia Z3 lineup get a price tag in European markets

Sony launched the Xperia Z3 line up yesterday that includes the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet. At the time of the announcement, the company did not reveal the prices of these devices. However, these three products are up for pre-order in Europe and were first spotted by Italian website Tuttoandroid.net. The flagship Xperia Z3 smartphone is priced for €649 in Germany, €679 in France, and €699 in Italy and Spain while in the UK it is bearing a price tag of £549. Moving on the Xperia Z3 Compact costs €499 in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, and £429 in the UK. Finally, the Xperia Z 3 Compact tablet  is priced at €379 in Germany, France, and Spain (for the 16GB Wi-Fi model), and €399 in Italy also it is priced at  £329 in the UK. The 16GB LTE model of the Xperia Z3 Compact tablet costs €479 in Germany and Spain, €499 in Italy, and £429 in the UK. There is no word as to when these Xperia Z3 devices will be shipped to these European markets.
