Twitter has updated Vine for iPhone with several features in latest update. Most importantly, the popular video sharing service has added the ability to import video directly from your phone's camera roll. Users will see a new option in bottom left corner of the capture screen that will allow you to import a video from your phone. This also supports slow motion videos. In addition Vine has also added some editing tools that make it easy to create a video. Users can duplicate portions of the video and mute the audio; instead of being forced to preview the entire video before editing, you can now preview your last addition on the capture screen and even delete that portion of your Vine from the same screen. A new "torch" feature makes it easier to shoot in dark places while a "ghost" mode lets you overlay the last frame of your shot onto your current shot to help you anticipate what transitions will look like. The update also makes Vine far more friendly for advertisers, as it enables companies to produce videos professionally, outside of the app. httpv://vimeo.com/103853748 The update is only available for iPhone at the moment, but Vine said that Android app will be released soon. Google has updated Voice Search on Android with multi language support. This essentially means that a person who knows more than one language can switch among them when making voice searches without having to change the settings on the app. Prior to this, users had to change languages if they wished to perform voice searches in different languages. With the latest update, Google Search now lets users speak up to five languages out of more than 50 supported languages and dialect. Google is limiting the switchover to one language per sentence. "For many people out there, speaking just one language isn’t enough. More than half the world’s population speaks two or more languages—and now Google can keep up. With the Google Search app on Android, you can speak in multiple languages and Google will understand you no matter which one you choose. So you can fire off a search for nearby restaurants in English, then dictate a text to your friend in French." wrote David Eustis, Software Engineer, Android in a company blog post. In order to use the feature Google Search app needs to be updated with latest version (3.6) and then all they will need to do is go to the Settings> Search ...

The Apple iPhone 6 is practically guaranteed to be announced at Apple's upcoming September 9th event. That said, while it was widely believed that Cupertino would make the handset available on launch day itself, a fresh report suggests that this might not be the case. Reuters reports that a snag in production of screens for the upcoming phone might cause a delay in the launch or even limit the number of handsets available at launch. With Apple stepping up screen sized to 4.7 inches and possibly even 5.5 inches while making the device thinner still, suppliers are finding it increasingly hard to meet the company's stringent quality requirements and specifications. The report goes on to suggest that Apple wanted to use a single backlight film but this resulted in the display being dimmer than expected. Usually two backlight films are used to ensure adequate brightness levels. Going back to the drawing board to engineer a solution to the problem resulted in delays in production. Japan Display Inc, Sharp Corp and South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd  are believed to be the suppliers delegated to manufacture the displays for the upcoming iPhone. While there is no doubt that we'll be seeing a new ...
