Samsung recently released an update for their WatchOn application. But it seems that they might have accidentally leaked the name of an upcoming device - the Galaxy S4 Mega.
The name is listed along with the S4 Mini and S4 Active both of which we have been seeing numerous rumours about. Samsung has already announced the Mega 5.8 and 6.3 which are expected to hit the stores soon. But this is the first time we're seeing the S4 Mega being mentioned.
Samsung has already removed the line from the application description. Of course, this doesn't mean that an S4 Mega does actually exist or will exist. Especially since there would be a slight conflict in terms of model placement since the S4 Mega would be quite similar to the upcoming Note III. Unless Samsung is thinking of changing their naming scheme. But with that said, there is still a slight possibility that the device does exist and we will keep you updated on any news regarding the device.

Alleged specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-5200 (WiFi) GT-5210 (3G)) has surfaced on the GFXBench (previously GLBenchmark). According to these specifications, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 would come with a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Clover Trail+ CPU and PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU. It would run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. No details about the RAM or the battery yet.
The Tab 3 10.1 surfaced recently on AnTuTu Benchmarks with whopping 24616 points, on-par with the Snapdragon 600 and the Exynos 5 Octa. Sammobile suggests that the device might be an early prototype and the final device might have a high-resolution display (Full HD?).

It has a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2, powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13.1-megapixel rear camera with BSI Exmor RS sensor Sensor, LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The rear camera can capture 15 burst shots per second. It has IPX5/8 and IPX5 ratings for water and dust resistance. Sony announced the Xperia A, a mid-range Android smartphone with a 4.55-inch HD display in Japan recently.

HTC has announced the HTC J One (HTL22), a variant of the HTC One for Japan's KDDI network. The global variant of the HTC One that was announced earlier this year doesn't come with a microSD card slot but the HTC JOne for Japan has a microSD card slot, in addition to the 32GB internal memory. Jolla, the smartphone start up company from Finland, has just revealed its first Sailfish OS based device, with colourful replaceable shells they are calling the "Other Half". This is the first Jolla device that has appeared ever since they started the "other half" teaser campaign on their social media channels. Running on the intuitive Sailfish operating system, the device will be able to run native apps as well as Android apps(as mentioned earlier) on a seamless user interface. We had a hands on demo of the Sailfish OS earlier at the Mobile World Congress, you can watch it for more information about the intuitive OS.

Wynncomm has launched the G41, the company's latest smartphone in the Wiz G-series. The company launched 4 new devices, G58, G51, G32 and G1 in India earlier this month. The G41 has a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) . Over at the SID display exhibition in Vancouver, LG plans to show off its new unbreakable and flexible OLED panel. This 5 inch panel would be in addition to the 55 inch OLED TV that they previously talked about. The OLED panel targets mobile devices and has a display constructed of plastic. This plastic construction makes it flexible and unbreakable.
LG will also demo new 5, 7 inch HD Oxide TFT panels which feature a bezel that is just 1mm wide. This would result in a borderless screen. Both the displays are lightweight and much more power efficient compared to competing panels.

Samsung is known for supporting its high end devices with firmware updates that try to give it feature parity with flagships. The latest firmware leak reaffirms this with an extensive change log that brings the Galaxy SIII that much closer to the S4.
The final update is expected to roll out in June but might not have the new camera features as seen on the Galaxy S4. Some of the major additions to the OS include the new lockscreen that supports multiple widgets, two unlock effects and the ability to change clock size, set a personal message on the screen. Samsung has also added two new screen profiles called Adapt Display and Professional Photo which should help you tweak the on screen colors exactly how you want them. Driving mode as the name suggests, lets you navigate the device with larger buttons making it easy to access while driving. A new fully tabbed settings interface is also available and looks exactly like that on the Galaxy S4. The firmware update is expected to roll out in June. It has been known for a while that Samsung plans to introduce a new rugged version of the Galaxy S4. Dubbed the Galaxy S4 Active, we finally get to take a look at the device. The specifications of the phone are to be the same as the standard Galaxy S4 with the focus being on making it a water resistant, dust proof device.
Internally the phone is powered by a quad core 1.9 Ghz Snapdragon 600 processor paired with an Adreno 320 GPU. 2GB of RAM is provided to facilitate effortless multitasking. The screen is the same stunning 5" 1080p Super AMOLED panel as seen on the standard version of the device.
The differences lie on the outside and are quite apparent. Gone is the plastic back and has been replaced with a metallic shell. You can spot visible bolts at the back which give it a very retro yet cool look. The front of the phone also gets hardware buttons to replace the capacitive ones seen on the original. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has been on a spree today with announcement of a stunning 1.1 billion USD Tumblr acquisition. Later in the day she took the stage to announce a brand new set of changes to make Flickr relevant again. The update focuses on a completely updated interface that has more than a passing resemblance to Microsoft's Metro UI.
The updated interface brings full resolution images everywhere and has a very photography centric design that will appeal to most users. The Karbonn S5 Titanium is a svelte handset with a high gloss finish that makes it look quite appealing. The front of the phone showcases the large 5 inch qHD display. It has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Opera 14 for Android is finally out of beta and is available from the Google Play. Opera released the version 14 beta back in March that brought the new WebKit engine replacing Opera's own Presto engine. The new Opera browser is based on Chromium 26 engine but the Chromium/Blink-based browser technology is not available yet. Opera says that it would be available in future as they plan to stay closely in sync with the Chromium development cycle with frequent updates.
The new version also brings completely revamped native UI that is built from groud up, Off-Road mode ( built-in Opera Mini compression), Omnibar with combined search and URL field and lots more.
