We hope that you've already checked out our photo gallery of the Samsung Galaxy S5. We've also released the Benchmarks for the Exynos version of the device. Now here is a photo gallery comparing the Galaxy S5 to the Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S5 is still an evolution on the Galaxy S4 design rather than a new design. It's not quite as rounded but a bit more squarish like the Note 3. The S5 has only a 0.1" bigger display but the size of the device itself is much bigger compared to the S4 thanks to the bigger bezels on the S5. We hoped it would be on par with the S4 size if not smaller considering how companies like LG have managed to fit even 5.2" screens on smaller devices. The similarities with the Note 3 dont end there, the glossy back found on the S4 has been replaced with a more leathery back. Similar to that on the Note 3. You don't get the faux leather stitching, but you get a dotted pattern. The back is much less prone to fingerprints as well even on the darker colours. One of the main additions to the S5 is the inclusion of a ...

This was followed by the UK with 1,906 requests, 71 percent of which were granted. The report which covers the period between July and December of last year also revealed requests made by the Indian Government to restrict or remove content based on contention that it violated the local law. It stated that while US reported most requests for user accounts, India stood second on the list in terms of requests made to get access to user accounts. Facebook censored 4,765 pieces of content in India at the request of government authorities in the second half of 2013. The Turkish government came second in that list with 2,104 requests. In total, Facebook received more than 28,000 government data requests during July-December 2013. In a ...

The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 stands out as perhaps the biggest Android tablet that you can get at the moment. The tablet is not only physically large, it also packs in it some serious firepower in the form of specifications. Under the hood is a 1.9Ghz Exynos 5 Octa processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The Exynos 5 Octa or the Exynos 5420 SoC has the big.LITTLE architecture where it pairs two clusters of four cores each. By switching between two clusters of Cortex A7 or Cortex A15 cores depending on the task load, the OS can optimize for battery life and performance. Unlike the Exynos 5422 variant of the chipset that is found in the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 does not have HMP (Heterogeneous Multi Processing) enabled which means that the OS cannot schedule task threads on all 8 cores simultaneously. While we'll talk in detail about real life performance in our full review, here's a couple of benchmarks to give you a comparative idea of how the Note Pro 12.2 fares against other popular Android tablets across categories. Just after rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, universal Windows apps, the key factor Microsoft aims to attract developers with, are already starting to show up on the store. Microsoft announced this new addition, along with several other enhancements to the developer side of things on Windows Phone, in a blog post today. Developers can now link their Windows Phone apps and Windows apps, as Microsoft has unified the Store front on both the platforms, with the same pricing and even streamlined in-app purchases. Apple has been allowing universal apps between the two form factors iOS is based on, but Microsoft is taking it to another level with support for all of its consumer platforms that occupy a wide range of form factors, from phones to tablets to desktops and even its Xbox gaming console on a TV. Microsoft had unveiled "Universal Windows apps" at the Build developer conference recently. This new approach has been possible primarily due to Windows Phone 8.1 gaining the same WinRT APIs as its bigger brother, Windows. While both the operating systems already operated on the same core, Windows Phone 8 still used a subset of the more robust WinRT APIs for the Metro ...
