Metis Learning, an education start-up has launched Eddy, the company's first Android-based learning tablet for kids. The tablet comes with 150 learning games that are linked to school curriculum, covering key learning areas including language, math and creativity. These games are highly engaging, violence-free and enjoyable for children. It is targeted at children aged 2-10 years and has educator-selected learning content.
HCL, Swipe and Binatone had already launched their own Android-based tablets for Kids, but this seem promising based on its features and hardware.

VideoLAN brought the VLC media player back to Apple iTunes Store last year. Since then the app has been updated gradually, now the app received a major update that brings a new UI for iOS 7 and a lot of new features including Google Drive integration, Dropbox streaming, better WiFi upload and lots more. The Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini surfaced last month, now @MMXNewscaster the White colored . According to earlier rumors the phone would feature a 4.7-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It would be 7.9mm thick and come with a 1800 mAh battery.
Previous image in black didn't reveal anything, but the new image shows that this would also have aluminium casing on the back, similar to the Canvas Turbo. The phone looks similar to the Blu Life Play S.

Samsung is expected to change a lot of things in 2014 and it is expected to start changing things with its upcoming flagship - Samsung Galaxy S5. There have been a lot of rumors floating around regarding the specifications of the device and more importantly about the announcement and availability. Motorola Moto G was expected to be launched in India later this month, now Motorola has officially announced that India launch details would be unveiled on February 5th 2014. At the Moto G launch back in November, Motorola announced that the Moto G would be available in India early January 2014, but it didn't happen.
Motorola launched the dual SIM version of the Moto G in Australia, Malaysia and Dubai recently. We already know that Dual SIM Moto G would launch in India this year, but it is not clear if we can expect the Dual SIM or single SIM variant of the Moto G in India.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 is part of the two new phablets announced by the Finnish company some time back. Announced alongside the 1520, the device follows the large screen trend and brings a massive 6 inch display to the table. Under the hood you find a 1.7 Ghz Dual Core Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. A 5MP camera is located at the back of the phone while a 0.3MP shooter can be seen up front. Sony Mobile has released the Timeshift burst app on Google Play that would let users with select (Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Tablet Z) Xperia users to use the feature. This app captures 61 frames in 2 seconds starting even before you press the shutter, just like HTC One. Once it is captured, you can scroll back and forth to select the perfect image. It also comes pre-loaded in new smartphones such as Xperia T2.
This application is perfect for action shots of moving subjects, says Sony. The app also lets you keep all that 61 images that it capture,s if you need them.

Xolo just launched their Xolo Q3000 and it is their latest flagship device. The Xolo Q3000 is a huge device and has a 5.7inch Full HD 1080p display. With a quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor under the hood, it joins the league of MediaTek powered Full HD smartphones in the mid-range segment. Huawei has launched the Ascend P6 S, the successor of last year's Ascend P6 in China. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display based on in-cell LCD screen technology, similar to the Ascend P6, but this one is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei's own Emotion UI 2.0 on top. It is not clear if this uses quad-core Huawei HiSilicon processor.
It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture and 1080P full HD video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is slightly thicker than the P6, but weighs 120 grams, similar to the P6. It also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby.
