Xolo Q700S that went on sale online last week has been officially launched. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) 1capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT6582M processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
It has metallic finish for premium look and feel, says Xolo. The company launched the Q700, its second smartphone in the Q CORE series back in May 2013 and launched the Xolo Q700i with upgraded camera in October.

Sony unveiled a tennis racket sensor at the CES 2014 earlier this month, now the company has officially announced the Smart Tennis Sensor (SSE-TN1) that would help you improve your tennis racket swing. This latches on to the bottom of your tennis racket and connects to your smartphone over Bluetooth to send data about your swing. This lets you immediately analyze the shot using the dedicated Smart Tennis Sensor application on your iPhone or Android.

The data collected can also be shared easily with your coach or trainers. This lets you count the number of shots, display illustrations where the ball has an impact on the rack, check the swing type, swing speed, ball rotation and more.
The app has Live mode screen that displays data of the immediate shot, type of swing as a graph and trends of each kind of swing. You can also record a video through the app and synchronize your shot accordingly for better perfection.

Dell has launched Venue 7 and the Venue 8 Android tablets in India. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and the Venue 8 has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels). Both these tablets are powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Venue 7 has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Venue 8 has a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing HD camera.
Both these tablets packs 2 GB of RAM, 16GB of Internal storage, a SD card slot and comes with 4100 mAh battery. These tablets were announced back in October last year.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro, a 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet that we reviewed earlier, has been officially launched in India by Dell for a price of Rs. 26,499 for the base 32 GB WiFi model. Powered by the Intel Atom Z3740D Bay Trail Quad Core processor running at 1.8 GHz, the Venue 8 Pro offers the full Windows experience, with surprisingly decent gaming performance to boot. One of the thinnest Windows tablets around, the Venue 8 Pro joins the Acer Iconia W4 in its foray into the increasingly crowded small tablet market, with the added advantage of a full fledged desktop operating system, made easier for touch.

Sony D6503, an upcoming flagship smartphone has surfaced in images on XDA. This is rumored to be the successor of the Xperia Z1. The Sony D6603 has showed up in AnTuTu Benchmarks, which is likely to be another flagship from Sony. These leaked images of the prototype shows off aluminium chassis and glass back. According the the XDA user, the phone runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera.
The speaker is present on the top, next to the notification LED, but it is not clear what the holes on the bottom are for.
On the right there is a lanyard hole, SIM card slot and micro USB slot. On the right there is a Volume rocker, power button, dedicated camera shutter button and a microSD card slot. These images look similar to the leaked frame of a prototype. We still don't have any specifications of the device yet, but the user says that the display is better than Z1.
Sony D6603 has been spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark listing, which might be another high-end smartphone from Sony. These smartphones are rumored to be announced at the MWC 2014 next month.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is Nokia's best Windows Phone yet. We recently reviewed the device and you can check out the review here. Along with the phone, Nokia also announced and launched an official flip case for the giant device. Keeping up with the trend of things, Nokia's Flip case also doubles as a stand for the phone. We have the case with us and we are bringing you the photo gallery of this case.
Being an official case, the device fits perfectly into the case and has no problems whatsoever. The case is priced at Rs. 2,999 and hardly looks that premium. The back has a plastic mold for fitting the device while the front is a rubbery material with vertically foldable bends in the middle.
The bendable front is meant for the case to be used as a stand when using the device in landscape orientation. Because the Nokia Lumia 1520 is quite heavy, the case is hardly able to support the device. Most of the times you will see the phone hitting the floor or desk when you use the flip case as a stand.

New Samsung TouchWiz UI for phones featuring new flat icons and Magazine UX elements leaked earlier this month. Now @evleaks has posted a new screenshot of the upcoming TouchWiz UI on phones that reveals Google Now-like notification screen. This looks similar to Windows Phone Live Tile UI that would delivers notifications, but also offers contextual information like Google Now.

Since Google Now is available for Android devices running on Android 4.1 and later, Samsung might have used their own code to gather data regarding user’s location, recent purchases, flight information, workout activity, local weather and more.

Rightware launched the Basemark OS II cross-platform benchmarking tool for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 8. It is built on Rightware's own engine (BOS2Engine) and includes performance tests for system operations, permanent storage reading/writing, 2D/3D graphics rendering and web browser features across all 3 major mobile platforms.
This runs all tests with the same code in the same language which makes the benchmark reliable among operating systems, says Righrware. The engine centralizes all user-interface elements in its internal rendering module which uses OpenGL ES2 for Android and iOS devices and DirectX 11 for Windows Phone 8, this makes all visible entities (including the application interface and graphics tests) look exactly the same in all platforms.
The benchmark has four main test categories: CPU Tests (single core Speed and multi core Speed), Storage Tests, GPU tests and Web Browser Tests. It also has extra tests that benchmark Battery, External Storage test and Camera test. The Battery Performance and External Storage tests are available only in paid full version. These do not affect the overall score. We will bring you performance comparison tests on all three platforms soon.

The phone has appeared on the official Motorola Australia website and Motorola has officially launched the Dual SIM smartphone in Malaysia, in partnership with local carrier Brightstar.Moto G is expected to launch in India in the last week of this month, which is next week. LG Electronics introduced the G Flex, the company’s first curved smartphone back in October, which went on sale in Korea in November. It was launched Singapore and Hong Kong in December, now the company has announced that the phone would go on sale in more than 20 major European markets including U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, and Austria starting February 2014.
The LG G Flex packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display from LG Display that vertically concave from top to bottom with a radius of 700mm, powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 3500 mAh curved battery developed by LG Chem.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 (G7102), the company's latest mid-range smartphone last month, which went on sale in India last week. Samsung already confirmed that the phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor, as you can see from the CPU-Z shot above it is clear that phone has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.19 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Motorola Moto G. Intex Aqua Curve, the company's upcoming Android smartphone has appeared on the official website. It has a 5-inch qHD (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen curved display based on One-glass-Solution (OGS), powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support, similar to most of the other Intex smartphones.
It also comes with Matrabhasha multi-language support, Intex Cloud, Intex Play, NQ Vault and more pre-loaded apps.

Huawei unveiled the MediaPad 7 Youth last year, now the company has unveiled MediaPad 7 Youth2, successor of the first MediaPad Youth tablet . It has a 7 -inch (1024 x 600 pixels) 5-point multi-touch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snadpragon processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6 on top. At the CES 2014, Samsung announced a new series of Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro tablets and a huge Galaxy Note tablet. Among the three tablets of the Galaxy Tab Pro series that were unveiled, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is the biggest and has exactly same features and specifications as the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.
